Belarus Stops Selling "Arctic" Winter Diesel Fuel. And They Did It Intentionally
"Arctic" winter diesel fuel, which used to be available at Belarusian filling stations, is no longer sold there. Instead, a new fuel called "DT-32" has appeared in the assortment, writes Av.by.

The main reason for the change is the filtration temperature. "Arctic" is designed for very low temperatures — down to -38°C or -44°C depending on the class. But in Belarusian conditions, such frost resistance is not needed, as extremely low winter temperatures are rare here.
"DT-32" has a filtration temperature of -32°C, which is more in line with the real Belarusian winter, and this fuel works stably in cars with diesel engines.
According to Sergey Kamornikov, Deputy General Director of "Belarusneft", this specific designation is used for transparency and accuracy — so that the consumer knows the true characteristics of the fuel and is not misled.
Currently, "DT-32" is not yet available at all filling stations. While it was previously found at 220 stations, it is now available at 253. Plans are to expand the presence of this fuel, especially in district centers and on main roads. However, a complete transition to "winter" fuel is not yet planned, as demand for standard diesel fuel still remains, and in warmer months, "DT-32" is hardly needed.

На отоплении экономят, но продают как за 85° в магистрали, на освещении экономят, и тут решили сэкономить. Продавая, прекрасную саляру на бумаге, с температурой фильтрации -32°, но на бумаге, а реально, проблемы в -22°.
