A woman's son died at the factory. What compensation was she awarded?
The young man got a job as an auxiliary worker in Gomel at a concrete products manufacturing plant in 2023. A month and a half later, an accident occurred at work, as a result of which he died.
While using a horizontal universal mixer, his clothing got caught in the equipment, and he himself — under the blades of the rotating shaft. The young man died.
An investigation was conducted — the head of the division and the production manager were recognized as the persons who committed violations. Criminal cases against them were closed due to amnesty. In addition, the court found the moulder of this enterprise, who turned on the equipment, guilty of causing death by negligence — he was also released under an act of amnesty.
For the woman, this was her only son, and due to his unexpected death, she experienced physical and moral suffering. The woman requested that the company pay 1,000,000 rubles in compensation and legal costs.
The court ruled that the mother of the deceased had legal grounds to receive monetary compensation for moral damages from her son's employer as the owner of a source of increased danger.
The Novobelitsky District Court of Gomel ordered the employer to pay 60,000 rubles in compensation for moral damages to the mother of the deceased, and also resolved the issue of legal costs.

Яна мне апавядала, што яе муж быў начальнікам на вытворчасьці, да яе прыйшлі ў сьне продкі і папярэдзілі, што на наступны дзень адбудзецца там няшчасьце, але ім забаронена гаварыць, што менавіта, толькі наказалі, каб муж нікога не ўпускаў і не выпускаў з цэху. Муж раніцой узяў ва ўсіх расьпіску пра тэхніку бясьпекі, замкнуў усе дзьверы, папярэдзіў людзей, але ўсё роўна кампанія маладых людзей неяк прайшла і пачала адцягваць увагу працаўніцы, у якой праз некалькі дзён павінна было адбыцца вясельле. У выніку ёй адрэзала станком пальцы. Калі б ён не ўзяў з усіх расьпіскі ў гэты дзень, то таксама б панёс адказнасьць, хоць ён зрабіў усё, што ад яго залежыла, каб гэтага не адбылося.
