Alexander Lukashenka signed a decree on the spring conscription and discharge into the reserve of military personnel on active duty. The document provides for the conscription to be carried out in March – May 2026.

Men who have reached 18 years of age by the time of conscription and do not have the right to deferment will be sent for urgent military service and service in the reserve. Citizens of conscription age who have lost the right to deferment also fall under conscription.
At the same time, the decree provides for the discharge into the reserve of military personnel on active duty who have already served the established term.
