At Kalinava Street, 1, in Vitebsk, there is a unique object — the building of a former cheder (primary school).

This is one of the few preserved monuments testifying to the centuries-old presence of the Jewish community in the city. It is also valuable because the artist Marc Chagall studied here from an early age, writes Onliner.by.
Local authorities want something useful for people to appear in the two-story building. Therefore, they announced a tender for tenants.
The right to rent the building is sold on the "BUTB-Maimasnasts" platform. The total area of the object is 591 sq. m. This means that one can expand and place anything on the floors. The rent will cost 1791.18 rubles per month. But this opportunity will have to be competed for at an auction. The starting price of the lot is 1845.28 rubles.

— Local authorities want a hotel and a public catering facility to be located in the building, — note "BUTB-Maimasnasts". Applications for participation in the bidding are accepted until April 6, and the auction itself will take place on April 9. It is interesting that the tenant can later buy out the leased property.
