The Minsk enterprise OAO "Alevkurp" has completed scientific and experimental work on creating an experimental small-sized electric motor for unmanned aerial vehicles with a power of 4.44 kW, reported the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus.

It is reported that the developed motor has passed tests and confirmed technical characteristics that are not inferior to foreign analogues. All parts for it were manufactured at Belarusian enterprises from materials available in the country. For the assembly and testing of such products, a corresponding technological process was also developed and refined, and the necessary equipment was manufactured.

Enterprise specialists also developed and manufactured two types of electric motor controller prototypes and created test software for sensorless control of them. The project was implemented under the leadership of Sergey Kovalyov, head of the analog and power electronics department.
