Villager in Ashmyany District Was Burning Garbage, But the Barn Burned Down

The incident happened yesterday in Gudovshchina village.

A villager at lunchtime was burning garbage on a plot near his house. He started a bonfire near an outbuilding. When he noticed smoke coming from the barn, he called rescuers, but first tried to deal with the fire himself, writes Kraj.by.

Ministry of Emergency Situations units arrived in the village and extinguished the fire. As a result, the fire damaged the barn roof, the ceiling, and the walls.
