The elder brother awarded the younger one in honor of the 20th anniversary of the Presidential Sports Club.
Dzmitry Lukashenka, Chairman of the republican state public association "Presidential Sports Club", was awarded a medal by the NOC of Belarus. Viktar Lukashenka, who heads the National Olympic Committee, awarded Dzmitry Lukashenka in connection with the club's 20th anniversary. Both got their positions thanks to their father - Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
— I well remember that day 20 years ago when this whole process began. I remember every moment: how the Decree was developed, how the directions of the organization's activities were worked out. It was difficult to start in a sphere that was already formed and functioning at that time. Nevertheless, the club managed to find its niche, skillfully and successfully entering it. It was even more difficult later to maintain the level, and you brilliantly coped with that," Viktar said.
The Presidential Sports Club regularly becomes the subject of numerous journalistic anti-corruption investigations.
