About Melkaziorau on his last day: «There was a feeling that he was tired, lacking energy, his facial features were gaunt»
Former director of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Aliaksandr Lukashuk, who by fate was destined to record for the program «Life-Raspberry» with the suddenly deceased journalist Mikita Melkaziorau on the last day of his life, told «Nasha Niva» how Mikita looked then.

«I won't comment on his health. There was a feeling that he was tired, lacking energy, his facial features were gaunt.
There wasn't the usual energy of live moderation, where you pick up on things, demand clarification, react to a statement, drive it to absurdity yourself and elicit a reaction — there was no playfulness, no humor.
Usually, for a talented moderator — and he was one — this is an indicator of a lack of energy, perhaps low blood pressure, or some pressing problem. I think this will be visible on the recording, when it is released,» said Aliaksandr Lukashuk.
