Minsk residents hunt for candles released by Mak.by

"I am a victim of marketing."

Since December 18th, Mak.by restaurants have been giving out candles – with the scent of their signature cherry pie, vanilla milkshake, and cinnamon cappuccino. The candles are given when ordering the "Cozy Combo" (a set including a burger, french fries, a drink, and a dessert).

On social media, many Minsk residents are boasting that they have already acquired these candles.

"I am a victim of marketing," joke Belarusian women, posting photos.

Many praise the idea. But some admit that they expected more. For example, the cherry pie-scented candle smells faintly and not quite like a pie.
