In the occupied part of the Kherson region, 24 people died and more than 50 were injured as a result of a drone attack on a cafe and hotel.
"Tonight, the enemy carried out a targeted drone strike on a place where civilians were celebrating the New Year.
Three drones hit a cafe and a hotel on the Black Sea coast in Khorly.
According to preliminary data, more than 50 people were injured, and 24 people died. The numbers are being clarified... Many burned alive. A child died," said the occupying "governor"-collaborator Vladimir Saldo.
According to him, the fire was only extinguished by morning.
Ukraine has not yet commented on the situation.
