Tomorrow — a shortened day off. And when will the next long weekends be?
On Tuesday in Belarus there is a shortened day off, because on Wednesday, January 7, it's Orthodox Christmas.
This means that on January 6 you can leave work an hour earlier. For those working half-time, the workday will be shortened by 30 minutes.
If, due to production reasons, it is impossible to shorten the workday, overtime must be compensated — with additional time off or payment as for overtime work.
The holidays are over. The next long weekend is in April, when Radunitsa will be on April 20.
Then there will be four days off: from April 18 to 21, but the following Saturday, April 25, will be a working day.
March 8 falls on a Sunday, so there are no transfers here, just like November 7.
There will be three consecutive days off from May 1 to 3, July 3 to 5, December 25 to 27, and January 1 to 3, 2027.
And the next four consecutive days off will likely be exactly one year later, from January 7 to 10, 2027. Next year, Orthodox Christmas will be on a Thursday, and it is quite possible that the working day of January 8 (Friday) will be moved to another day,
