"There will be a day when Belarus will be in Europe together with all of us, and it will be exactly as the people of Belarus deserve."

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, at a press conference following memorial events in Vilnius in honor of the 1863-1864 insurgents, once again mentioned Belarus.
"I thank Lithuania for the fact that all of us were together like this today: Ukrainians, Lithuanians, Poles. And today, representatives of free Belarus's team were with us, and this tells everyone quite clearly that there will be a day when Belarus will be in Europe together with all of us, and it will be exactly as the people of Belarus deserve.
We all must be effective in cooperation — in defending our sovereignty, our peoples — all in our part of Europe and all in Europe. We all know what is needed for this," said Zelenskyy.
Previously, in a speech at the Cathedral Basilica, he noted that "Lukashenka's white spitz has more rights than the people of Belarus." "There was a chance to change this in 2020 — and there will be such a chance again," Zelenskyy expressed hope.
