A resident of Bogushevsk tried to organize the murder of a girl he considered responsible for his son's death – as a result, he fell into the trap of a fake hitman and was himself sentenced.

Details of the high-profile case were shared with the "Vitbichi" newspaper by the investigator who solved the crime.
The tragedy occurred in May 2018. Two young people died in a car accident. The car was driven by an acquaintance of the group, who had recently obtained her license. On a curve in the road, she lost control, swerved into the oncoming lane, and collided with a "Niva". The female passenger died on the spot, and the young man later died in the hospital.
The investigation established that the accident was the fault of the driver. The court sentenced her to five years of imprisonment in an open-type settlement colony. The convicted person admitted guilt and did not appeal the verdict.
However, the father of the deceased young man considered the punishment too lenient and decided to seek revenge. According to the investigation, the man began searching for an executor for the murder through acquaintances. He promised a reward of $1000 for the reprisal against the woman.
The attempt to find a hitman led to the man being under police control: the person who introduced himself as a hired killer was actually cooperating with the authorities. The client directed him to the place where the convicted person was serving her sentence so that he could photograph the "victim" and confirm that it was the right person.
Later, operatives staged the murder and presented fake evidence to the client. After that, the man was detained while attempting to pay the "killer".
A criminal case was initiated against the man. The court found him guilty of organizing contract murder and sentenced him to six years of imprisonment. He has already served his term, as has the person responsible for that same accident – both no longer live in Bogushevsk.
