New Round of Talks Between Ukraine, Russia, and the US Begins in Geneva
A new round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the US, and Russia has begun in Geneva. This was announced by the head of the Ukrainian delegation, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, reports "European Pravda."

According to Umerov, the meeting is planned to discuss security issues and humanitarian topics. He noted that the Ukrainian side is committed to working constructively and without inflated expectations, striving for solutions that can bring sustainable peace closer.
In addition to Umerov, Ukraine is represented at the talks by the Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov, his First Deputy Serhiy Kyslytsia, Head of the "Servant of the People" faction Davyd Arakhamia, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andriy Hnatov, and Deputy Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Vadym Skibitsky.
The Russian delegation is headed by Russian Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
The American side includes US President's Special Envoy Steve Whitcoff, Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, Secretary of the Army Dan Driskell, and Commander-in-Chief of NATO's Allied Forces in Europe General Alexus Grinkevich.
Ahead of the meeting, US President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine should sit down for negotiations with Russia as soon as possible. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in turn, expressed hope that the negotiation process involving the US and Russia would not be slowed down due to changes in the composition of the Russian delegation.
