MES made an entire week Belarusian-language ahead of Mother Language Day

In the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a message appeared on the morning of February 16 stating that, on the eve of International Mother Language Day, which is celebrated on February 21, the agency is taking “an important step towards our cultural roots.”

“Throughout the upcoming week, our Telegram channel and the MES of Belarus's internet portal will broadcast in Belarusian,” — announced the MES.

And indeed, subsequent messages in the channel began to appear in Belarusian. 

“Native language is not only a means of communication, but also a living thread that connects generations, history, and people's hearts. Therefore, we invite you to walk this path with us — to discover the beauty, sound, and warmth of the Belarusian language in daily news, tips, and messages,” — notes the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
