Minsk Region farmer faced persecution by authorities after TikTok complaint about stray cows
Anastasia Charnyavskaya, a resident of Molodechno district who runs an agritourism farm with her husband, faced pressure from law enforcement after publishing a video about her everyday problems with a herd of stray cows. For this, she was almost accused of extremism.

Nastassia Charnyavskaya, owner of the agritourism farm «Childhood Dream,» recorded a video stating that she is seeking justice — cows that have been wandering the outskirts of Molodechno for several years are creating problems for local residents. Farmers Yury and Nastassia Charnyavskys are among those affected. On the night of February 4, they had to chase cows away from their homestead three times.
And after this video, the authorities indeed responded.
Nastassia recorded a new video while leaving the Molodechno District Police Department (RAUS).

«I spent many hours here. They were dealing with my videos, which many people didn't like very much. My state, you could say, is shocking. I appealed for help through my videos about inaction — no matter where you turn, it's a closed circle everywhere, no one wants to do anything...
And in these videos, they saw almost extremist activity of mine. They confiscated my phone, deleted these videos without my knowledge... They said it's not the competence of the District Police Department (RAUS) — to deal with cows and so on. A day wasted. And a feeling of injustice,» says Nastassia.
According to her, police officers summoned her directly from home.
They allegedly came to investigate her video. They asked for details, about the cows, about how long they've been suffering with these cows.
They said: «Let's go with us to the District Police Department (RAUS) to the police chief, all involved persons will be gathered there, we will talk and solve the problem.» And she went.
«I arrive, they lead me into an office and confiscate my phone. Confiscation — no one explains anything at all, they're rummaging through something, without any warning.
It turns out that they are almost initiating an administrative case against me for inciting some extremist activity with my video. Has anyone seen calls for extremism from me? I just appealed with my misfortune!» — the woman wonders.
But regarding the cows, the District Police Department (RAUS), like everywhere else, refused to help — it's not their competence, they say. They advised her to contact the rural council (selsoviet) and the executive committee (vykankam).
«I know where they will send me in the rural council (selsoviet) and the executive committee (vykankam). I stand like before a broken trough (i.e., helpless) and don't know what will happen next. More precisely, I know, and that makes it even worse,» — the woman summarizes.
Nastassia disabled comments under the new video, but over 12 thousand people liked it.
