The government has determined the amount of material assistance for Great Patriotic War veterans for Victory Day. Disabled veterans and war participants, as well as persons who participated in hostilities until September 3, 1945, will receive 5000 rubles.

Other categories will receive:
2500 rubles — persons awarded orders or medals of the USSR for selfless work in the rear during the Great Patriotic War; persons who worked at air defense facilities, local air defense, on the construction of defensive structures, naval bases, airfields, and other military facilities within the rear lines of active fronts, on front-line sections of railways and highways; persons who worked at enterprises, institutions, and organizations of the city of Leningrad during the blockade from September 8, 1941, to January 27, 1944, and were awarded the medal "For the Defense of Leningrad," as well as persons awarded the "Resident of Blockade Leningrad" badge.
1500 rubles — family members of servicemen, partisans, and underground fighters who died (passed away), went missing during the Great Patriotic War (wives who have not remarried, disabled children from childhood, including adopted sons and daughters, other incapacitated persons for whom a pension increase has been established on this basis in accordance with legislation); former prisoners, including minors, of fascist concentration camps, prisons, ghettos, as well as former minor prisoners of other places of forced detention created by the fascists and their allies during the Second World War, for whom a pension increase has been established on this basis; disabled persons from childhood as a result of injury, contusion, trauma related to hostilities during the Great Patriotic War or the consequences of military actions.
Payments will be made from May 4 to May 8. A total of 10.6 million rubles will be allocated for them from the republican budget.
