Iran executed three young demonstrators

For the first time, Iran carried out death sentences during recent mass protests, causing outrage worldwide.

As reported by Bild, citing Iranian state media, three men were executed: it is alleged that they are responsible for the deaths of two security officers in Tehran.

The verdict was handed down on charges of "murder and operational actions," allegedly directed by the United States and Israel.

Death sentences in Iran are usually carried out by hanging.
