A 39-year-old illustrator who created stickers in support of repression and riot police in 2020 has died.

In Minsk, farewell was said to designer Anna Pereroslaya, who worked under the pseudonyms Ascha and Pink Shark.

The farewell was announced on her Instagram page.

During her school years, Anna volunteered and often traveled to Austria. She wrote that the experience had a strong impact on her.

In 2009, she graduated from the Faculty of German Language of Minsk State Linguistic University, and in parallel — a course in graphic design at the Belarusian State Technological University (2007-2009). After that, she completed the «Web Design and Computer Graphics» program at the Institute of Advanced Training at BNTU.

Anna said about herself on social networks that she loves computer games, travel and driving, as well as sharks — hence her pseudonym.

The woman was professionally engaged in UX/UI and graphic design for more than 10 years, and, apparently, started in the IT company SaM Solutions. Anna also worked at Novy Povorot OJSC, a company that develops programs to help pass the theoretical exam at the State Traffic Inspectorate.

In 2020, Anna created stickers in support of repressions, riot police («silaomon») and Lukashenko («zabatku»).

The woman also supported the war in Ukraine and posted a drawing on Instagram with a grandmother carrying the Soviet flag.

Anna was outraged when Artemy Lebedev got a tattoo, on which you can see a word in Belarusian.

The woman explained her dislike for the Belarusian language on social networks by the «4» (B), which she, an excellent student, received in the fifth grade from a Belarusian language teacher: «For not wanting to show tearful emotions when telling poems about the troubles of peasants who once lived.»

It is known that last year the designer drew illustrations for the newspaper «Znamya Yunosti».

On social networks, she shared a little about her battle with cancer.

In Threads this year, Anna wondered: «Why doesn't the taxi service have a service like taking you to the doctor, waiting outside the office, supporting you when everything is bad?». In the comments, she was advised to take friends with her, but Anna replied: «Friends, as a rule, have two children and a job.»

Anna is survived by an eight-year-old daughter.
