Residents of an apartment building chipped in and decorated their entrance for New Year themselves — just take a look
"They decorated a lot: the entrance doors, the lobbies in front of the elevators, the vestibules, the elevators, and even the first floor."

Hryhor, a resident of house 15G on Hierojaŭ Abarony Bresckaj Krepasi Street in Brest, shared his New Year's fairy tale with Onlíner. "The house is 4 years old, and during this time there has never been any New Year's decor. We wanted to fix that," says Hryhor.
According to the young man, the initiative primarily came from the new chairman of the homeowners' association (HOA). It was he who decided to decorate the common areas to give the residents a New Year's mood:
"Together with his wife, they decided to please us and decorate the entrances for the New Year. They purchased New Year's decorations through the homeowners' association. Due to limited funds, most of it was made by hand — sleighs, boxes, bows, wooden crates. And since there are two entrances in the house, everything had to be made in duplicate."

A good example is contagious. Seeing how the entrance was changing, the apartment owners also decided to contribute:
"Residents cooperated and independently bought additional materials for the decor: foam plastic for Christmas trees, garlands, door wreaths, stationery trifles like tape, glue. They also provided office paper for hanging decorations and wrapping paper for boxes. They decorated a lot: the entrance doors, the lobbies in front of the elevators, the vestibules, the elevators, and even the first floor."

Hryhor shares: everything cost about 1000 rubles. Not that much considering current prices. But the result will bring joy for a long time, and after the holidays, the decor can be stored and reused next year.
"It took a lot of time and effort, but the result is pleasing to the eye. Children are especially happy. This is how, with a small budget, we managed to create a New Year's atmosphere and unite the residents. As they say, where there's a will, there's a way."
