Americans for the first time invited Europeans, a Qatari, and a Turk to talks with Ukrainians

On December 19 in Miami, national security advisors to the leaders of Germany, France, and Great Britain — Günter Sauter, Emmanuel Bonne, and Jonathan Powell — will arrive to participate in talks between the US and Ukraine, reports Axios journalist Barak Ravid.

This is the first time that European representatives will be present in Miami together with US and Ukrainian negotiators Steve Witkoff and Rustem Umerov. Umerov confirmed that the Europeans were invited to this meeting by the Americans.

In addition, representatives of Turkey and Qatar will take part in the negotiations — Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Qatar's Emir Tamim Al Thani, which indicates a very high level of talks.
