A woman bought a gift certificate at a 'Belita' brand store. It was not accepted in another store
A resident of Pinsk reported on social media that she bought a gift certificate at a 'Belita' brand store and gave it to her mother. However, in another store of the same brand, this time in the Mogilev region, the certificate was refused. The official 'Belita' account on Threads had to explain the situation, writes Telegraf.news.

The woman was outraged that she had not been warned about the restrictions in advance: the certificate was purchased in Pinsk, but they did not allow using it in Asipovichy, explaining that only certificates issued within the Mogilev region are accepted there.
A company representative explained that stores in the Brest and Mogilev regions belong to different legal entities. Because of this, certificates purchased from some representatives cannot indeed be used at others. 'Belita' claims that such information should be indicated on the certificates themselves and on the website, as well as communicated during the sale.
However, this explanation did not satisfy the customer. She noted that when she bought it, she was told that the certificate was valid in any brand store. What was written on the certificate itself is not precisely known, as its photo was not published.
Other users also expressed dissatisfaction, calling such a practice unacceptable in 2026.
Information was later found on the 'Belita' website stating that the list of stores where the certificate can be used is indicated on its reverse side, and the certificate itself without a seal, seller's signature, and receipt is considered invalid.
This story showed that 'Belita' gift certificates purchased in one region of Belarus may not be accepted in another, despite identical store signs. To avoid problems, it turns out, customers need to pay attention not only to the brand but also to inquire about which legal entity manages it in which territory.
