Body of Russian swimmer who disappeared six months ago found in Bosphorus
The body of Russian swimmer Nikolay Svechnikov has reportedly been found in the Bosphorus six months after his disappearance. His relatives were urgently called for identification, SHOT reports.

It is reported that the body was wearing a wetsuit. Police believe it belongs to the Russian athlete who disappeared during an open-water swim in August last year. In an interview with SHOT, the swimmer's relatives stated that they are now going to identify the body.
It was previously reported that, according to one version, Svechnikov felt unwell during the competition and began to drown under the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge.
His relatives had offered a reward of 1 million Russian rubles (about 13 thousand dollars) for the discovery of his body.
