Washington and Kyiv will not sign an agreement on the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine for $800 billion at the World Economic Forum in Davos, as previously planned, Axios reported , citing a Ukrainian source.

According to her, it was expected that US and Ukrainian Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy would sign the document, however, the meeting between the two leaders, during which this was supposed to happen, was canceled.
At the same time, an American source for the publication noted that no specific dates had been set for signing the agreement, and the plan itself still requires refinement.
The interlocutor added that Trump could still meet with Zelenskyy and several European leaders in Davos, but no significant breakthroughs should be expected from these negotiations.
In turn, the President of Ukraine stated that he remains in Kyiv for now to hold a meeting on restoring energy and heat supply in several regions of the country after another Russian attack.
