In the Gomel region, a tree fell on a commuter bus with passengers

In the Gomel district, a tree fell on a commuter bus. The incident occurred on January 22, around 6:40 PM, on the 52nd kilometer of the M-10 highway «Border of the Russian Federation — Gomel — Kobrin». The bus was traveling on the «Gomel — Zyabrauka» route, according to the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Gomel region.

According to preliminary data, the 49-year-old driver was behind the wheel, and passengers were in the cabin. Fortunately, none of them sustained injuries.

Traffic police (DAI) and emergency services (MES) employees are working at the scene, assessing the situation and eliminating the consequences of the incident. Due to this, traffic on this section of the road is temporarily complicated.
