Mikalai Autukhovich to be transferred from colony to prison regime again
Political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich will be sent to a closed prison for three years to serve his sentence.

Such a decision was made by an on-site court that took place on January 23 in colony No. 14 in Navasady near Barysaŭ, Radio Svaboda reports, citing its source.
Autukhovich's trial took place over two days — January 20 and 23.
The source is unaware of the violations for which Autukhovich was punished with a new transfer to a prison regime. According to her, the political prisoner spent 7 days in SHIZO (punishment cell) in PC-14, after which he complained that he had caught a cold in his ear.
It is not yet known whether Mikalai Autukhovich will appeal the court's decision to transfer him to a prison regime.
Autukhovich was transferred to the colony at the end of 2025 from Hrodna prison, where he was serving his sentence after the verdict.
He was detained in December 2020, and in October 2022, he was sentenced to 25 years of imprisonment under 10 articles of the Criminal Code, including such severe articles as "act of terrorism" and "conspiracy to seize power by unconstitutional means," for which even the death penalty is stipulated. According to the verdict, he was supposed to serve the first 5 years under a prison regime.
This is Mikalai Autukhovich's third imprisonment. The first was from October 2005 to January 2008. The second was from February 2009 to April 2014, with more than two years before the end of his term spent in Hrodna prison.
