Truck clearance suspended at Medininkai border crossing in Lithuania
At the Lithuanian border checkpoint «Medininkai» (from the Belarusian side «Kamenny Loh»), the clearance of trucks has been temporarily suspended on the afternoon of January 24. Entry for heavy goods vehicles (HGV) has been suspended from the Lithuanian side, the State Border Committee of Belarus reports .
The reason for this was technical failures in the software of customs databases. According to preliminary information, traffic is planned to resume no earlier than 8:00 PM.
At the same time, the clearance of passenger cars and buses continues as usual.
Cargo carriers are advised to take this situation into account when planning trips to Lithuania.
