A whole group of Indians asks Indian authorities to rescue them from Belarus
A group of nine Indian citizens found themselves in Belarus, without work and proper accommodation, and now they are asking the Indian government to help them return home, Reform.news reports , citing the Indian publication The Hindu.

The wife of one of the Indians, T. Thangaswamy, said that her husband went to Belarus in December 2025 through an employment agency, paying 400,000 rupees (about $4400). For almost two months in Belarus, he was not given work, accommodation, or food.
Thangaswamy himself reported that the agency initially promised him work in Israel, but after receiving the money, it stopped responding. Only a year later were he and other workers sent to Belarus.
The Indians complain that the agency does not provide clear answers, and they face "great difficulties in a foreign country" with heavy snowfalls. They are asking the Indian government to solve their problem and help them return home.
Earlier, a woman from the same India was in a similar situation; she also went to Belarus through an agency and was left without work and money. After her story reached the media, Belarusian law enforcement officers intervened, after which the woman was able to return home.
