Baranavichy school acquired a bionic robot to train future IT specialists
Secondary school No. 1 in Baranavichy acquired a Unitree Go2 bionic robot dog. The equipment will be used as a teaching aid to train future engineers and IT specialists, writes "Nash Kray".
The acquisition was made possible thanks to a prize from the Brest Regional Executive Committee and sponsorship from the "Brestoblgaz" enterprise. According to school director Maryna Kuptsova, the robot will become the "heart" for interdisciplinary projects that will combine computer science, physics, and mathematics.

The robot is equipped with artificial intelligence, laser sensors for spatial orientation, and a manipulator. Students of the children's technopark, which operates at the school, are already planning to use the platform to write their own autonomous navigation algorithms and create prototypes of assistants for people with disabilities.
Tatsiana Shastak, head of the education department of the Baranavichy City Executive Committee, called the acquisition of such a complex an example of bold educational policy. She emphasized that the school sets a new impetus for the entire education system of the city, creating an environment that fundamentally changes the status of the educational institution and allows engineering thought to develop in practice.
