Deputy Prosecutor General: They were released — this is a temporary phenomenon

At a press conference on the results of the Prosecutor General's Office's work for 2025, Deputy Prosecutor General Aliaksei Stuk showed a peculiar sense of humor, Reform.news writes .

To a question about the operation of legislation on preventive supervision and preemptive control over citizens who had served their sentences and were released, Stuk replied with a smile:

"One just wants to say: you said 'they were released,' but this is a temporary phenomenon."

Stuk reminded that after changes in legislation, individuals under preemptive supervision or released under preventive control must be employed.
