Belarus wants to receive guarantees of use of GLONASS — Russian analogue of GPS — in case of wartime.
This was reported by the Deputy Chief of Military Industrial committee of Belarus Ihar Bykau.
“It is impossible to use GPS for military purposes as it changes channels and frequencies during some special [wartime — NN] periods,” said Mr. Bykau.
