Tsikhanouskaya Revealed What She Would Have Liked To Do If 2020 Had Not Happened
The democratic leader of Belarus appeared on the project «Peratrom z Khalezinym» (Overthrow with Khalezin). However, the recording of the program took place not in Nikolai Khalezin's kitchen, but in a restaurant in Warsaw.

Nikolai Khalezin asked Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya what she would have liked to be if 2020 had not happened. In 2020, Sviatlana did not work, she looked after her children, and her son Karney, who had hearing problems, required particular attention. But the children have grown up, and what's next, Nikolai Khalezin asked.
«I would be a teacher,» Tsikhanouskaya replied and explained: «You know, I am not ambitious enough. I don't have any grand ideas. Siarhei, he is such a driving force.»
«But with your work ethic, you would have achieved success,» Nikolai objected.
«But I don't have such ambitions,» Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya repeated. «I am the kind of person who feels good when people are well, for everyone to be comfortable and happy. I invested a lot in my children. In the spring of 2020, when there was COVID, I started teaching English at an online school, I absolutely loved it, and I'm responsible, you know. I had a 10-year break, then I gave some silly interview, and then I finished the lesson because I was very responsible. And then I was sure, when Siarhei hadn't been imprisoned yet, that from September I would start working, I would get into a working rhythm.»
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya graduated from Mozyr State University in 2004 with a specialization in «Foreign Languages» (English, German).
