Near Minsk, there's a mysterious spot where you can have a full lunch for 5-10 rubles
If desired, it's quite realistic to put together a hearty lunch here for even 5 rubles, but for more choice, locals advise coming earlier: popular items are quickly snapped up.

This establishment is located in Machulishchy. It operates only from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and everything revolves around set lunches, writes "Pristalichcha".
Journalists visited "Lotos" closer to midday, and some of the dishes had already run out: there were no salads left at all, borscht, rice, and most meat hot dishes were crossed off the menu.

The set lunch ultimately looked like this: thick, rich pea soup with smoked meat, a homemade beef and pork cutlet, french fries, and berry juice.
The soup was served in a large cup with a handle, convenient to hold, and a basket of black bread was brought with it. There were a lot of french fries, the cutlet was prepared "homemade" style, simple and juicy, and the berry juice was not too sweet. The total cost for everything was 9.90 rubles.

The premises are clean and tidy: furniture without obvious defects, napkins, salt, and pepper on the tables, and the restroom is clean.
However, the interior and the restroom themselves already look morally outdated: it's not a trendy cafe or a stylish gastropub.
For those who drop in for lunch between errands, hot food, large portions, fast service (we only had to wait literally a couple of minutes), and a clear menu indicating the ingredients of each dish await here.
