Gender quotas will be maintained in elections to the new Coordination Council
On January 20, the Coordination Council adopted the rules for electing delegates to its 4th convocation, as reported in the KR Telegram channel. 42 out of 80 delegates participated in the vote on this issue: 40 voted "for," 2 abstained.

The elections will be held online from May 11-17, 2026. The voting system will be proportional, and to participate in the distribution of mandates, at least 3% of votes must be obtained.
Candidacies can be submitted by "electoral subjects": political parties, constituent committees of parties, civil society organizations, factions of the current KR convocation, their coalitions, as well as groups of citizens who meet the requirements of the election rules. Each subject must have a name, a political program, and declare its values or ideology.
Subjects must submit a list of at least 10 candidates, observing a gender quota of at least 40% representation for the less represented gender. If it is objectively impossible to meet this quota (for example, in security organizations or veteran structures), the commission may reduce it to 20%.
A more detailed regulation on the elections will be published later, after the necessary amendments are made.
