Belarusians are snapping up tickets for concerts of Gen Z artist Vanya Dmitrienko from Krasnoyarsk, not only in Minsk but also in the regions

If you're over 25, you've probably never heard the name Vanya Dmitrienko. Meanwhile, this Russian singer is coming to Belarus in April, and tickets for his shows are selling out in hours. What's happening?

It all started on December 31, 2025 – that's when Dmitrienko announced he would perform in Minsk's Palace of Sports in April 2026. This is a small venue, so tickets sold out in a few hours. As a result, the organizers added another concert – but those tickets also sold out in hours.

Judging by social media, not everyone who wanted tickets managed to get them even the second time. And the Belarusian leg of Dmitrienko's tour began to grow. It now includes not one concert, but as many as six performances between April 19 and 26: three concerts in Minsk and one each in Brest, Gomel, and Grodno.

Moreover, the concert in Brest was added to the program only a few days ago, but tickets for it are already gone.

It seems that if there was an opportunity, the organizers would add concerts in other regional centers as well. But the performances in Belarus are part of Dmitrienko's larger tour, and the dates of other concerts are already allocated.

Now, the singer's fans are reselling tickets for his Minsk concerts online. This is because initially, performances in the regional centers were not planned, and therefore many people were ready to travel to the capital for the concert. Now, with the singer coming to their cities, there's no point in going to Minsk.

Not everyone is happy that the organizers didn't plan concerts in the regions in advance. Belarusians are writing on Threads about how they had to change their plans because of this:

"A big question remains: why did sales open in Minsk in December, and in other cities – only at the end of February?"

"Organizers get 0 points, shame, it's annoying."

"For some reason, the artist's organizers didn't bother to organize a tour of Belarus and immediately announce everything centrally."

Other users share their impressions of the hype:

"People who snagged tickets for Vanya Dmitrienko, please write your age. Genuinely curious how many kids will be at the concert."

"Vanya Dmitrienko – the new Oleg Miami in Belarus? Three solo shows, a tour of regional cities, and a performance at the Belbet festival. And then City Day too?"

"Girl: trying to snag a ticket for Vanya Dmitrienko's concert. Woman: snagged a ticket for Pyotr Elfimov's concert."

To be fair, Dmitrienko does not perform in the largest venues. For example, he cannot be compared to Anna Asti – she also had to hold additional concerts in Minsk, but she did so at "Minsk-Arena," designed for 15,000 spectators. Dmitrienko performs at the Palace of Sports with 3,300 seats. At concerts, the number of standing places naturally decreases.

In Brest, a larger hall was found for the singer – the "Victoria" sports complex with 3,740 seats. Dmitrienko will also perform at the Gomel Palace of Sports (2,760 seats) and the Grodno Ice Palace (2,487 seats).

Vanya Dmitrienko is 20 years old and was born in Krasnoyarsk. He has been involved in singing since childhood, and as a teenager, he started a TikTok account where he posted covers of famous songs.

In late 2020, the young man uploaded a video on TikTok performing his own song "Venus-Jupiter," and the video went viral. Just a couple of months later, Dmitrienko, who was then 15 years old, was already performing a solo concert in Moscow.

In 2021, according to Apple Music data, Dmitrienko ranked third in popularity in Russia and has since conquered Russian charts and music awards.

The young man has never openly spoken about the war, but his actions can still reveal his position.

In 2022, four days after the start of the full-scale war, Dmitrienko refused to go on stage at the "Zhara Media Awards," where he was supposed to be a host. On Instagram, the young man wrote that his moral compass "does not allow him to go on stage and pretend that nothing is happening."

Of course, he now attends awards ceremonies and receives awards there: for example, in 2025, he appeared at the Yandex Music awards. In the same year, Dmitrienko performed at the Ural Youth Forum, which was held with the support of Artyom Zhoga, a participant in the Russian invasion.
