Six people made huge money betting on a US attack on Iran. Suspected of knowing about it in advance
A group of six people managed to earn about 1.2 million dollars on the special online platform Polymarket, where people bet on various events. These users bet money on the US attacking Iran specifically on February 28.
The most suspicious thing about this story is that these people opened their e-wallets and deposited money there literally a day before the explosions, and placed bets just a couple of hours before the start of the operation.
One of the lucky players named Magamyman earned over 500 thousand dollars in just one day. He placed his first bet 71 minutes before the attack was reported by all world media.
Another user risked an amount of 60 thousand dollars, buying "Yes" options very cheaply, and after the strikes were confirmed, his capital grew almost tenfold — to 560 thousand dollars.
Experts are confident that this is not a coincidence, but the use of insider information — that is, secret data accessible only to a narrow circle of individuals.
Experts noted that all these accounts had never participated in trading before and only appeared in February.
In total, people worldwide bet huge money on this military event — about 90 million dollars. However, it was this group of six players who acted so precisely and timely.
