Over three thousand Belarusian tourists remain in the UAE, Qatar, and Oman
More than three thousand organized tourists from Belarus are currently remaining in the Middle East countries, where an unstable situation is observed, Kiryl Masharsky, director of the National Tourism Agency, reported on the air of the "First Information" TV channel.

According to the National Tourism Agency, over 2,500 Belarusians are in the United Arab Emirates, 319 people in Oman, and about 200 in Qatar.
It is reported that hotlines have been organized for communication with citizens. The Chargé d'affaires of Belarus in Qatar has already met with tourists in Doha: according to his information, people remain calm and await the development of the situation.
The possibility of evacuating Belarusians through Saudi Arabia, particularly via Riyadh, is being considered. Tourist companies and diplomats have been instructed to facilitate the extension of free accommodation in hotels for the period of forced waiting.
For those who were supposed to fly to the Emirates, Qatar, or Oman in the coming days, tour operators are obliged to refund the full cost of the tours.
Representatives of the tourism sector recommend citizens to stay in hotels or rented accommodation, not to leave them without extreme necessity, and also to avoid areas with government institutions and military facilities.

In response, Iran carried out missile strikes, including on US military bases in several countries in the region. The conflict affected a significant part of the Middle East.
