Russia's Attack on Kyiv: Heat and Water Lost Again

On the night of January 24, against the backdrop of peaceful trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi, Russia launched a new massive drone and missile attack on Kyiv and its energy infrastructure. Heat and water are again disappearing in the capital, reports BBC - Ukraine.

The attack on Kyiv began around 2 AM and lasted for more than three hours — until 5 AM. Russians attacked with Shaheds, and then simultaneously launched ballistic and ground-launched cruise missiles.

After 6 AM, the "Shahed" attack on Ukraine continued, and around 7 AM, Kyiv was again attacked by drones. According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, one person is already known to have died in the capital and four were injured. Three of the injured were hospitalized by medics.

On the left bank, where repair crews had been trying to restore heating in recent days after Russian strikes, there were again interruptions in heat and water supply.

There is practically no electricity in Kyiv anyway.

Currently, it's minus 10 degrees Celsius in Kyiv.

Overall, in the Desnyansky district, debris fell on a non-residential building. In the Dniprovsky district, a fire broke out in a garage cooperative as a result of drone debris falling. A fuel truck also caught fire in a parking lot. Additionally, windows were blown out in a multi-apartment residential building.

In the Darnytsky district, windows in a private medical facility were damaged.

Destruction was also recorded in the Holosiivsky and Solomyansky districts. Journalist Jan Dabranosau published photos of damage to the Roshen confectionery factory.

Due to metro damage, green line trains are temporarily not running between the right and left banks.

Simultaneously, a Shahed attack occurred on Kharkiv, where 14 people were injured.
