“Taxi is expensive, carsharing was cheaper.” Minsk Resident Drank Two Liters of Wine and Got Behind the Wheel
Traffic police inspectors stopped a carsharing vehicle on the capital's Partyzanski Avenue.

The attention of traffic police officers was drawn to how unconfidently the female driver was driving. The girl explained her driving style by saying that she was driving an automatic car for the first time. However, it turned out that the reason was different.
It immediately became clear that the Minsk resident was in a state of alcoholic intoxication. Medical examination confirmed this: 2 permille of alcohol in her exhaled air.
Later, the girl admitted that she had drunk two liters of wine during the evening. In a video, she also said that she didn't use a taxi because the trip cost was too high, and carsharing seemed cheaper.
Now the driver faces a fine of 200 basic units (9000 rubles) and deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 5 years.
