Indian citizen Meena Joshi, who found herself in Belarus without work or money, will fly to Delhi tomorrow, January 23.

The agent with whom the woman cooperated bought her a return ticket. She will arrive in Delhi on a Belavia flight, Indian media write, as noticed by Reform.news.
As Joshi recounted, she traveled to Belarus through an agent. She was promised a job packing fruit, but upon arrival, it turned out she was supposed to clean a cowshed.
The woman worked in such conditions for a week, and then decided to return home, but could not contact the agent.
After that, the woman recorded a resonant video in which she stated that she had not received the promised work or salary, was living in a cowshed, and could not return to India due to lack of money. Indian and Belarusian media reported on the situation.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus called the information about the Indian citizen fake. The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that in November, the woman received a job and a temporary residence permit, but after 8 days, she canceled the contract, which led to the annulment of the permit. After that, she traveled to Russia but returned to Belarus. The Ministry of Internal Affairs promised to conduct an investigation and provide a legal assessment of the actions of intermediaries and employers.
