Among the published files of American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual crimes and died in prison, there is a mention of his genetic tests.

As can be seen from Epstein's letters to Boris Nikolic, a venture investor and former Gates advisor, the financier took a genetic test in 2013 and sent it to the company 23andMe, which conducts such research. The response stated that he was Jewish and had roots in Belarus.

Jeffrey Epstein grew up in a Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York. His mother was Pauline Stollosky, his father Seymour G. Epstein.
Interestingly, among Epstein's files there is also an article emailed to him from Wikipedia about the history of Jews in Belarus.
