Valiantsina Aksak Presents the Book "Dinner with a Stranger's Lover"
On February 14, in Warsaw, during the International Poetry Festival "Verses on Asphalt" in memory of Mikhas Straltsov, a presentation of Valiantsina Aksak's new poetry collection "Dinner with a Stranger's Lover" (published by "Komunikat") will take place, writes bellit.info.

“Valiantsina Aksak's new book will make some readers want to throw firewood into the fire under the author. Or turn to the famous Polotsk executioner Balthazar to sharpen his axe. Readers from the Inquisition would have done so. The law nowadays allows the poet, who imagined herself on Christ's knees, to remain alive. Her works, which go beyond the bounds of chastity, can be burned, as the author dines, and not only, with a stranger's lover. Nevertheless, for a fair verdict, it is worth reading what is written between the lines of this book,” states the description of the publication.
