Prosecutor's Office explained why a book about BNR was banned in Belarus
The book by Darota Michaluk, dedicated to the history of the Belarusian People's Republic, was recently declared undesirable for distribution in Belarus. According to the department's explanation , its content does not comply with the provisions of Lukashenka's directive on state ideology and may harm the country's interests. The initiative to include the publication on the banned list came from the Prosecutor's Office of Horki district.

Darota Michaluk's book "Belarusian People's Republic 1918-1920: At the Origins of Belarusian Statehood"
The Prosecutor's Office found the book "Belarusian People's Republic 1918-1929: At the Origins of Belarusian Statehood" for sale online and sent it for expert review to the Republican Commission for the Assessment of Symbols, Attributes, and Information Products.
According to the commission's conclusion, certain parts of the publication contradict Lukashenka's directive of April 9, 2025, No. 12 "On the Implementation of the Fundamentals of the Ideology of the Belarusian State" and may harm national interests.
Based on this, the Ministry of Information included the book in the list of printed publications whose distribution is considered dangerous for the national interests of Belarus. The book was removed from sale.
