Nausėda, Nawrocki, Zelenskyy, and Tsikhanouskaya laid flowers in memory of the 1863-1864 insurgents

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Polish President Karol Nawrocki, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Belarusian democratic forces leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya arrived to lay flowers. A brooch with yellow and blue ears of grain could be seen on Tsikhanouskaya's coat.
Before this, the leaders of the countries gathered for a mass in Vilnius Cathedral, where they delivered speeches. Zelenskyy spoke a lot about Belarus. "Belarus is still forced to exist as a Russian governorate-general," he noted. "There was a chance to change this in 2020 — and there will be another such chance." Nausėda also expressed hope for democracy in Belarus.
