The visualcapitalist project visualized UN tourism data, according to which international tourism revenues reached $1.74 trillion worldwide in 2024. This is 14% more than pre-pandemic in 2019, writes Thinktanks.pro.

The USA ranked first in tourism revenue in 2024, earning $215 billion in this sector.
The rest of the top 5 included only European countries:
- Spain — $106.5 billion;
- United Kingdom — $82.5 billion;
- France — $77 billion;
- Italy — $58.7 billion.
Three Asian countries also made it into the top 10. The UAE earned $57 billion from tourism, Turkey — $56.3 billion, and Japan — $54.7 billion.
