"Strong spasms throughout the body." 18-year-old Matvey told how he was electrocuted in a Minsk trolleybus
Recently, the story became known of how a passenger was electrocuted in Minsk on January 27 during the day in trolleybus No. 44. The victim was a girl named Diana, who after this incident ended up receiving treatment in cardiology. It was also reported that there was another victim in this case. Now 18-year-old Maksim told his story to "Onliner".

"As soon as I stepped on the metal threshold, I immediately felt pain in my leg and fell into a puddle between the curb and the trolleybus. Since my leg remained on that step, my whole body started to shake. I did not lose consciousness. The feeling of what was happening can be described as strong spasms throughout my body. It was painful.
Diana was pulled away because she was inside the trolleybus, but I was stuck in that hole, and no one could pull me away. Perhaps people thought I was having an epileptic seizure. When the driver realized what had happened, he turned off the trolleybus," Matvey recounts.
Doctors determined that the guy had "exposure to current without electrical trauma." Matvey returned home the same day. After the incident, he was summoned to the police, and employees of "Minsktrans" also met with him:
"They apologized to me and said that monetary compensation would be paid. I just need to collect documents for the insurance company.
As they explained to me, there are three protective barriers in the trolleybus to prevent a person from being affected by electric current. And the salt, which is used to sprinkle roads in winter, corroded one of the barriers. Because of this, we were electrocuted. The rubber sole did not save us, because there was salt on it, just like on the platform."

На 2026 г. запланирована поставка 96 троллейбусов нового типа (т.е. одиночных электробусов типа IMC). Собственно, именно такие машины работали уже несколько лет на маршруте № 44 (не понимаю, куда они разом делись в конце прошлого года). Однозначно, они попадут и в ТП-4. Т.ч. надеемся, что к следующей зиме ситуация изменится.
