“I would like to propose establishing a special award of the Peace Council named after President Trump to recognize his outstanding contributions to peacekeeping activities,” Tokayev stated.
The Peace Council was created on Trump's initiative in January 2026. The organization is intended for managing the Gaza Strip and resolving other global conflicts. De facto, it is under the control of the USA and personally Trump, and is formed from leaders of states who are invited to participate. To obtain the status of a permanent member of the organization, a contribution of 1 billion dollars is required.
