"Today, the delegations of the USA, Ukraine, and Russia agreed on the exchange of 314 prisoners — this is the first such exchange in five months," wrote US President's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, who leads the American delegation at the trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi, on X.

The day before, commenting on the first day of the trilateral talks, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a new prisoner exchange in the near future.
"This result was achieved during detailed and fruitful peace talks. Although much work still lies ahead, such steps demonstrate that continuous diplomatic engagement yields tangible results and advances efforts to end the war in Ukraine," wrote Witkoff.
