Pruzhany district resident doubted paternity and stopped paying alimony
What did the expert examination decide?

Non-payment of alimony for the maintenance of minor children could have resulted in a criminal case for a 45-year-old resident of Pruzhany district. Since 2021, according to a court decision, the man is obliged to pay alimony for two children in the amount of 50% of his earnings.
However, he stopped doing so, stating suspicion that he is likely not the father of one of the minor children.
As part of the verification, a genetic examination was ordered. Experts from the State Committee of Forensic Examinations for the Brest region confirmed the man's assumption — paternity regarding one of the children is excluded.
